Should America Care About Obama's Associations?
Suppose you don't care about Obama's associations with Reverend Wright, Bill Ayers, et. al.
A commenter in the McCain and Obama: their choices post at Dan Phillips' Blog asks:
I don’t know if America cares. But they should. And you should.
Suppose John McCain spent most of his life under the pastoral care and mentorship of Fred Phelps and gave him the honors and high praises that Obama has given Wright? Suppose McCain had decades of friendship with an unrepentant abortion clinic bombing criminal organizer. Suppose McCain [had] attended campaign parties at the abortion clinic bomber's house and evidenced decades of partnership with this proud vocal terrorist?
I guess you have to say 'I wouldn't care' to feign consistency.
